i-Naira.com is aware that your privacy is very important. Thus we assure our users that their information provided on our platform is secured and private. i-Naira.com collects members’ personal identifiable information that includes:
a. Name
b. Phone number (11 digits Nigerian numbers)
c. Email


Some of the steps taken to protect our genuine users include but not limited to:
01. Captcha entering when signing up - This deters BoTs from registering on the platform.

02. Phone number verification through a One-Time-Pass (OTP) - This helps verify the registered phone number is genuine.

03. Ban of unscrupulous users - defaulters are banned. More so, when high value items are sold, users are required to pay an access fee. This function will help screen out unserious users

04. Privacy while bidding. The system will only display your first name and four last digits of your phone number (Abdulrahmam ****4475).

PRIVACY POLICY

  1. Your Names are required in order to verify the information provided in case of sharp practices that are not in line with the extant laws of Nigeria.
  2. Your Email is required for online notification purposes.
  3. Your Phone number serves as your subsequent log on information and personal identifier linking you to all the above information. This information must be authenticated through a One-Time-Pass; six-digit code sent to the phone, that must be entered back into system before you can use the platform.
  4. Your information will not be shared with unauthorised persons or entities. Adequate measures are in place to safeguard your information and ensure confidentiality of your personal information.
  5. We do not handle Payment Collection/Settlement platform where you are required to enter your Bank Credit/Debit Card information for registration payments. It is wholly handled by PAYSTACK in a secure payment platform approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria for online payment collection and settlement.
  6. By signing up on i-naira.com, you agree that your information may be used for the above purposes. Changes to our privacy statement will be done without prior notice to you and such information will be communicated to you accordingly. These changes will be deemed acceptable by you after you have received notice of it.
  7. Should you send us correspondence including emails and letters, we will retain such information in the records of your account. We will also retain customer service correspondence and other correspondence from i-Naira.com to you. The rationale for this retention is to keep records of our relationship, measure and improve customer service and to investigate potential fraud and violations of our User Agreement. We may, over time, delete these records if permitted by law.
  8. From time to time, we may offer optional questionnaires and surveys to our users for such purposes as collecting demographic information or assessing users' interests and needs. Adequate information on why such information may be required will be made available.
  9. We are committed to managing customer information with the highest standards of information security. We use computer safeguard such as firewalls and data encryption, enforced physical access to our buildings and files. Authorised access to your personal information is granted only to employees who require it to fulfil their job responsibilities.
  10. The security of your i-naira.com account also rests on the protection of your PASSWORD. You should not share your PASSWORD with anyone and no employee of i-naira.com. Please note, we will never ask you for such information. Any request email or correspondence asking for such information should be treated as unauthorised and suspicious and forwarded to info@i-naira.com.
  11. Should you share your password with any third parties, such third parties will have access to your account and your personal information and you may be responsible for any action taken using this information. In the event you suspect a third party has gained access to your password, please log into your i-Naira.com profile, change it and promptly notify admin@i-naira.com.
  12. You can request to update your email address on our system if you have moved from your previously registered organisation on our platform. This update attracts a N5,000 update fee upon request.
  13. We are responsible for ensuring that our day-to-day procedures with this Privacy Policy is adhered to.
